2001 July/Editorial 1

Dear Friends and Benefactors,

There are many things which defy explanation in the natural world let alone the supernatural. For instance, of Saturn’s 18 moons, 17 go in the same direction around the planet and the 18th on the outer orbit, called Phoebe, goes in completely the opposite direction. The evolutionists and those who deny an Intelligent designer for many other phenomena of the universe have no explanation for this. Now the new world order as it comes to force its existence upon us, wants everyone to conform to its liberal principles. This is also very true of the new Church which is attempting to bring the Society into its own orbit and out of the Catholic orbit we have maintained for the last 30 years. While the Society may be orbiting in a direction different from all the other bodies belonging to the Church, she nevertheless belongs to the one true Church. “We are right” said Bishop Fellay in his recent conference in Sydney, Australia. And while all other bodies of the Church orbit in an anti-Catholic direction, alone the Society and Tradition must maintain its Catholic direction. This we must do through prayer and an ever greater Catholic spirit. In a world of ever greater protestant liberalism we must like Phoebe the 18th moon of Saturn keep our own Catholic and anti-liberal direction.

The month of July dedicated to our the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, reminds us to be ever most grateful and loyal to our Lord and to His Church.

May God bless you,

Fr. L. Gerspacher
