At
the blessing of the new church in Nairobi; around 200 faithful were present.
Fr.
Daniels is on holiday in Australia at the moment
and has sent us these pictures of the ordinations
which took place there at the end of last year.
Above we see the four ordinands and below
Mgr. Galerreta imposing hands on one of the candidates.
Long
live the King! Rev. Anthony Esposito, in charge of our Lady of Sorrows'
parish in Roodepoort
was crowned
King for the day during the Epiphany celebrations.
Cutting the Three Kings' cake it was he who found the hidden coin.
In former times this would have been a sixpence (tickie) but in some countries
it is a bean,
often carved to resemble the Infant Jesus wrapped in swaddling bands.
