Mr. Frank Matheison

Roodepoort parish will miss him much. He was called by God on the 3rd of November 2003, in his 73rd year. Let us pray for his dear soul and also his widowed wife and family.

Michael Rushbrook

Died on the 10th of September 2003 in Perth Australia.. When our chapel was still located in Randburg, in the beginning years of the Society in Southern Africa, Mr. Michael Rushbrook did much to help us. Let us pray for for his soul.

Confirmations: How beautiful to see so many new Soldiers of Our Lord Jesus Christ! Eleven were confirmed by Bishop Williamson in Zimbabwe on the 19th of October, another 26 in Roodepoort on the 25th of October and another five in Durban on the 2nd of November. Let us thank God for this gift and pray that these souls may remain firm in the faith and in the gifts of the Holy Ghost.

It is unfortunately, a rare event that all priests and brothers of the Society in Southern Africa come together. This time we got it right. Perhaps the biggest priests retreat in Southern Africa up till now! His excellency Bishop Williamson came to preach a beautiful retreat to us all from Monday 20th of October to the 25th. Below is a little photo to commemorate this joyful event.
